2/2-Islands and Ocean Center Walk

A great morning of fun in the snow!  It was just the girls and I, which I anticipated due to the snowfall and poor road conditions in some areas.  It's always about safety first!! Fortunately, for us the roads were not an issue.

The trail had about 3-4 inches of fresh snow over the packed down trail.  I wore my little one and pulled my oldest along in the sled.  We walked a short distance down the trail and back, then played in the parking lot.  An eagle in a nearby tree had our attention as he entertained us, chattering and flying between trees.  It was a fun time and refreshing to get outside!

Plan
Currently it's 30 degrees with a breeze and light snow.  We will stick with the plan and head there at 10.  I'm assuming after all the snowfall the trail is not stroller friendly.

We'll try this again since I canceled it last week.  Plan on arriving around 10 and walking by 10:15.  I am pretty sure the trail will be stroller and sled friendly, guess it depends on snowfall, but I will double check tomorrow.
